This Saturday, February 9, 12pm-2pm, PlayGround is offering a 2-hour comprehensive Playwriting Master Class for aspiring and early-career playwrights. Also, beginning Saturday, February 23 and running through Saturday, March 23, 12pm-2pm, we’re offering a five-session weekly Playwriting Workshop, providing greater depth on aspects of craft and form. Each class or session is $50 for adults (i.e., $250 for the 5-session Workshop) and free for Bay Area high school students. PlayGround is offering a Playwriting Master Class this Saturday, February 9, 12pm-2pm, at the PlayGround PlaySpace for aspiring and early-career playwrights interested in learning how to write plays, with an emphasis on the ten-minute play. This class is a perfect primer for those planning to submit for this year’s Young Playwrights Contest (limited to Bay Area high school students) or looking to (re)apply for the 2019-20 PlayGround Writers Pool. Registration is $50 for adults and free for Bay Area high school students. Capacity is limited.
