Mark Rafael directed fellow play grounder Tom Swift’s My name is Yin as part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the Performing-Arts and social justice major at the University of San Francisco. Tom was in attendance ant the opening and it was a glorious night had by all.
Miyoko Sakatani will be performing in the Best of PlayGround(SF) ’26 in Stan Stone’s wonderful play Bridges of San Francisco County, with Rolanda D. Bell and Ryan Tasker directed by Jenna Stein-Corman. May 30th and 31st on the SF Potrero Stage.
Eiko Moon-Yamamoto is performing in Oakland Theater Project’s production of The House of Bernarda Alba directed by Michael Socrates Moran. Running from May 22 – June 7 at the Omni Commons in Oakland.
Robyn Brooks is thrilled to share that her full-length play TALES OF A BABY DYKE IN A SMOKING JACKET has been selected as a Semifinalist for the 2026 Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference (NPC).
Carolyn Doyle is thrilled to be performing in Certified Super Sleuth by Daniel Martinez Jr. in the upcoming BEST OF PLAYGROUND(SF) ’26: the Best Short Works from Monday Night PlayGround’s 25/26 Season On May 30 & May 31 @ 7pm PT at Potrero Stage & Simulcast.
