Greg Lam play The Shrewing of the Tame, Maury Zeff short play Girls Just Want to Have Patents, and Bridgette Dutta Portman play Once Upon a Dream will be performed as part of the Pear Theatre in Mountain View’s short play festival Pear Slices. Both plays were originally written for a Monday Night Playground. Pear Slices runs from July 17-31. Purchase tickets HERE.

Emilie Talbot will be part of the 2026 PlayGround Fringe, playing MJ in Kim Reed’s DREAMS OF HOME directed by Tracy Ward, July 31- August 2. Then she will be in ARC’s Outside the Box reading of THE WELKIN by Lucy Kirkwood at Marin Shakes on August 3. Come play with us!! MORE INFORMATION.

Greg Lam‘s full-length sci-fi play REPOSSESSED will be produced by Actor’s Ensemble of Berkeley, from July 31-August 9 at Le Val’s Subterranean Theatre. This will be the show’s second production. Rich and Gretchen seem to have the ideal marriage, until they learn that it was manufactured by a mysterious biotech company which installed it into their brains. Because they can no longer afford this service, the company must repossess their improvements. REPOSSESSED explores questions of identity, morality, and authenticity amidst a world of rapidly changing technology and the ethics that come with it. MORE INFORMATION.

Tanika Baptiste is directing a new play called Scabmuggers at the Freight in downtown Berkeley. It performs Tuesdays @ 7pm (with Intermission) July, 7, 14, & 21. The play is about the Harvard Trade Union Associations 1994 cohort comprised of union leaders from around the country and several international students from Australia and Japan. Lisa Morse is part of the ARC Outside the Box summer reading series, which includes staged readings of Greater Clements, The Welkin, and Witch. All readings take place at the indoor Marin Shakespeare space in San Rafael. MORE INFORMATION.
