Eighteen years ago, nearly to the day, Tom Swift‘s Monday Night Playground Submission, entitled The Beginning, landed on the Berkeley Rep stage. Featuring PlayGround Company Member Liam Vincent, former Company Member Jason Frazier and directed by Sean Daniels (current Artistic Director of Arizona Theatre Company), The Beginning answered the question: How do you write a ten-minute love story? Now, years later, Swift has out The Middle and The End. His full-length play, A Marriage, has its world premiere at Theatrefirst, running from February 3 to February 19th. Derived, in part, from multiple Monday Night submissions and two Festival Plays, A Marriage was originally commissioned by PlayGround. If you were there for The Beginning – come see what happens at … The End. Learn more here.
