Rebecca Pingree‘s work will be featured in two different projects on the same day, April 25th! She will be playing Paulina in Jennifer LeBlanc’s Winter’s Passage (as part of the Bay Area Women’s Theatre Festival) on 4/25 at 7pm, and her directing work will appear in Analog Theatre’s Mask Monday at Standard Deviant Brewing on 4/25 at 8pm. Marissa Skudlarek’s ten-minute play “Laodike,” a sex comedy about the lead-up to the Trojan War, received three performances in New York City in late March as part of the Atlantic Acting School’s spring one-act festival.

Lisa Gaye Thompson is working with Synergy Theater to zoomcast an improv/playwriting/cold-read mashup produced on April 18th. Carla Pantoja started work as a fight director at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival this month. She will be the fight director for The Tempest and associate fight director on King John with her colleague U. Jon Toppo. Cathleen Riddley and Michael J. Asberry, two actors from Cleavon Smith‘s first Monday Night PlayGround selection are doing their magic for Cleavon once again in his latest play, The Incrementalist. Dawn Monique Williams directs (put some emphasis on each syllable to represent the work she’s doing with the script) while Sam Jackson and Anna Marie Sharpe round out the unbelievably hard-working and talented cast. Isabel Anne To just performed in Madison Wetzell’s “The Lost Ballad”, part of the Champagne Staged Reading Series at Shotgun Players. Fingers crossed this amazing work gets produced soon! Coming up next is a workshop for Rachel Bublitz’s two-hander “Funny Like an Abortion”, directed by Giovanna Sardelli.
