Maury Zeff‘s full-length play THE FROZEN SEA (about the convergence of art and technology in the near future) is being performed in Geneva, Switzerland, October 9th and 16th as a co-produced event by the Fête du Théâtre 2021, the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator, and the ImpactIA Art/AI Festival. The performances will be followed by panel discussions about how theater can be used to engage the public in issues of technology and science. Shruti Tewari, a writers pool member, wrote and directed a short film on teen suicide prevention, titled Mum, which is playing at the Silicon Valley Asian Pacific Film Festival in October. Danielle Levin is taking advantage of her Travis Bogard Day-Use Fellowship at the Tao House to continue work on her play WHOLE CLOTH which tackles questions of legacy and history through stories about her great grandmother and S. Ansky, author of “The Dybbuk.”
