Lizzie Calogero is currently working on a workshop production of Red Carol, Michael Gene Sullivan’s adaptation of the Dickens A Christmas Carol. A co-production with the San Francisco Mime Troupe and Cutting Ball Theater, this workshop includes some limited presentations throughout the month of December. Learn more here.

Cindy Goldfield is in full swing in her 17th season of A Christmas Carol at ACT. As soon as that closes, she goes into rehearsal for In Every Generation at TheatreWorks.

Ely Sonny Orquiza is thrilled to be part of the creative team remounting A.C.T.’s A Christmas Carol back at the Toni Rembe Theater (formerly The Geary Theater) after its last performance in 2019. Louis Parnell is pleased to be In Playground’s Xmas show A VERY HITCHCOCK CHRISTMAS playing December 10 & 11 at 7pm at the Portrero Stage. He will perform in Maury Zeff’s piece NORTH BY NORTHPOLE directed by Tracy Ward.

Evelyn Jean Pine’s poem, “The Dusty Road from Death,” a Petrarchan sonnet for the lackadaisical housekeeper is published in No Crime In Rhymin’. In December, the California State Emeritus and Retired Faculty and Staff Foundation awarded her a grant to visit to the Nevada Nuclear Test Site, outside of Las Vegas, to complete the research for her play, Radioactive Daughter, which she began as a PlayGround Resident Playwright.
