Mary Baird has 3 upcoming events: Golden Stories of Our Past: Women’s Suffrage: September 10th at The Nevada Theatre, Nevada City (here’s the trailer); An Evening With Ellen: September 18th at The Odd Fellows in Nevada City; and All’s Well That Ends Well: September 21 ARC on line.
Aldo Billingslea is performing in Arena Stage’s production of Toni Stone with Rodney Jackson, Jr. and Santoya Fields, Pam McKinnon directs.
Meghan Maugeri’s full-length comedy “Mothers of the Bride” will have its World Premiere at Pear Theatre in Mountain View, CA from August 20th through September 12th! Madeline Puccioni’s full-length play, PIERCINGS, will be published by Next Stage Press in September. PIERCINGS is an anthology of her sad and hilarious little love stories, some of which were developed at PlayGround, and some of which may be autobiographical.
Joseph Patrick O’Malley and Lyndsy Kail are looking forward to their greatest roles yet of becoming parents to daughter, Roury, debuting this month.
Danielle Thys booked a commercial for Ernst &Young, shooting August 6, 2021.
Isabel Anne To will be understudying a role in Cal Shakes’ debut return-to-in-person production, “The Winter’s Tale”, which begins previews on Sep 1. Tickets here.
Tracy Ward will be directing Fun Home at 42nd Street Moon– opening in February 2022.
Madison Wetzell and Akaina Ghosh participated in Shotgun Players online festival 3030 Vision. Together they wrote a short audio play based on Oedipus. Madison Wetzell also contributed a video project based on Faust, Part 1.
Maury Zeff‘s play “Merchant of Stratford,” which explores the possibility that William Shakespeare may have been an Elizabethan petty criminal, is receiving a workshop production from Theater 33 in Oregon. Performances will be streamed August 5, 6, and 7 (7pm) and August 8 (2pm). More info here.
