Rondrell McCormick is directing a play titled SHE in Antaeus Theatre Company’s Lab Results.
Christian Haines is directing RIPCORD at Altarena Playhouse. Opening January 24th
Ely Sonny Orquiza is developing a new play, EMMYLU by Boni B. Alvarez with M. Graham Smith at Playwrights’ Foundation. He begins rehearsals this month for GLORIA at A.C.T. asst. directing Eric Ting.
Ginny Reed is directing EXPOSURE TIME by Kim Merrill for Mendocino Theatre Co., running mid-June-July.
They have one out-of-town actor residency (stipend, travel allowance, housing provided) for a 30-ish male to play Charles Dodgson (aka: Lewis Carroll).
Rachel Bublitz will act as guest artist in the Kennedy Center’s ACTF Conference later this month, where she’ll lead playwriting workshops and have a reading of her new play FUNNY, LIKE AN ABORTION. She was also extremely excited to have Z Space’s production of her play RIPPED end up on three different lists for the best Bay Area theater of 2019; Sam Hurwitt’s for Mercury News, Nicole Gluckstern’s for KQED, and David John Chávez’s for Bay Area Plays.
Lynn Aylward‘s play LA CUIDAD LO REQUIERE was named a finalist in Ghostlight Theatre Ensemble’s “Festival 10, 2.0.”
Julia Brothers will be playing a Mormon with visions from God in A PEREGRINE FALLS by Leegrid Stevens in NYC with Loading Dock Theatre at The Wild Project, Feb 2th – 29th.

Mary Baird is currently co writing a piece in honor of Ellen Clark Sargent to celebrate the passing of the 19th Amendment. This will be presented in September here in Nevada City. She also going to graduate from Improv School with a performance at the Comedy Spot in Sacramento on the 18th.
A new revision of Jonathan Luskin’s play, PERFECT, last seen at the PlayGround Festival of New Works, will have a staged reading at the Laguna Playhouse in Laguna Beach, CA, as part of their Bare Bones New Play Reading Series on March 2, 2020. More information here:
Aaron Wilton and Nancy Carlin are appearing in Indra’s Net Theater’s production of COPENHAGEN with Bob Ernst. It runs Dec 19-Jan 12 at Berkeley City Club; all info can be found at here.
Sarah Gasser is in rehearsals for THE LION THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE in December, while still running A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD with Bay Area Children’s Theatre.
