Aaron Wilton and Nancy Carlin are appearing  in Indra’s Net Theater’s production of “Copenhagen” with Bob Ernst. It runs Dec 19-Jan 12 at Berkeley City Club; all info can be found at indrasnettheater.com

Ely Sonny Orquiza is directing THE PENIS PLAY with Academy of Art University’s School of Acting winter One Act Festival, Dec. 6 – 7, 2019. Upcoming in 2020, Ely will be assistant directing Eric Ting for GLORIA at the American Conservatory Theater; then he will be devising theatre with ARC Rep at the University of California, Berkeley exploring the “New Faces of Asian America” in Spring 2020.

Sarah Gasser is starting rehearsals for THE LION THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE in December, while still running A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD with Bay Area Children’s Theatre. 

Evelyn Jean Pine performs a selection from her new performance piece, THE FAR SIDE OF THE MOON IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK as part of Monday Night Marsh on Monday, December 16 and December 30 at the Marsh in San Francisco. 

Cindy Goldfield was recently awarded Best Direction of a Musical and Beat Musical (Tier 1) at the TBA Awards, and is currently in her 16th season performing in ACT’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL.  

Rinabeth Apostol will appear next in GROUNDHOG DAY at SF Playhouse from 11/20/19 – 1/18/20!

Tessa Corrie is excited to be directing a new work with Pint Sized Plays at PianoFight SF. Grab a beer and catch the feminist revision of BABY IT’S COLD OUTSIDE. Shows are Dec 2, 10, & 16 at 8pm. 

Brian Herndon is playing Mr. Collins in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE at TheatreWorks this winter.

Rebecca Schweitzer is performing in  BULL IN A CHINA SHOP at the Aurora.

Robert Sicular appears in MOTHER OF THE MAID, opening this month at Marin Theatre Company. The tale of Joan of Arc as seen through the eyes of her mother, it plays November 14th – December 5th. For tickets and more info, please go to marintheatre.org.

Jonathan Spector‘s EUREKA DAY will perform at Mosaic Theatre in Washington, DC through January 5. 

Jerome Joseph Gentes participated in the Dramatists Guild Political Engagement Initiative panel on theatre as a response to voter suppression in Native communities on Thursday December 5, 2019, in NYC. He also has a short piece in the current issue of The Dramatist, the print and online magazine of the Dramatists Guild. Jerome also recently relocated to Southern California, but will remain active in PlayGround SF and in Bay Area theatre.

Rachel Bublitz’s play THE NIGHT WITCHES has booked two new productions in the Spring of 2020. Additionally, it’s just been announced that her one-act play for young audiences, PRESENTING CAT KID & REPTILE ROBOT IN THE TERRIBLE TICKLE TROUBLE will tour Utah elementary schools in the 2020/2021 school year, a production of Plan B Theatre.

Daryl Anthony Harper can be heard voicing commercials locally for Northern California Honda Dealers as Narrator, Nationally for Hint Water as the Cloud with watermelon flavored rain, and via the web and social media as the THC filled Gummy Bear down on his luck for Q-Fast Acting Cannabis Shots!

Robert Sicular continues his run in the critically acclaimed MOTHER OF THE MAID  at the Marin Theatre Company through December 15th. Tickets and more info available at marintheatre.org.

Lynn Aylward‘s full-length play THREE CHORDS AND THE TRUTH was named a finalist for the 2020 Lights Up Festival at City Lights Theater in San Jose. Her short play SNOW GA-D’OH will be performed at the Bonita Arts Center in Bonita Springs, FL ion December 13 as part of Funny Shorts LIVE! 

Tessa Corrie was last seen directing Melissa Keith’s LOVE PREY, EAT  which was recognized as People’s Choice for November’s Monday Night. Her show BABY IT’S COLD OUTSIDE will be closing soon at PianoFight SF. Catch this holiday new work Dec 10 and 16 at 8pm

Rob Dario will be in Eugenie Chen’s Free Public Reading of CHAN FAMILY PICNIC: A NEW VAUDEVILLE at the Chinese Historical Society of America Museum in San Francisco on DEC. 14. His play THIS SEPTEMBER 11TH will be part of T1’s New Works Festival in May at The Waterfront Playhouse in Berkeley.
