Silver Jubilee Silent, Live & Wine Auctions!

The PlayGround Silver Jubilee is just a week away and PlayGround is putting the finishing touches on the gala silent, live, and wine auctions to be featured that evening. Highlighting the live auction will be a three-night Palm Springs getaway at Casa di Vetro for up to 8, valued at $5,000. Also included in the live auction will be a private dinner for up to 14 at San Francisco’s celebrated flour + water restaurant, valued at $2,000.

This year’s gala silent auction will feature several special theatre and entertainment packages, including a pair of six-play season subscriptions to Aurora Theatre Company (valued at $684), opening night VIP dinner, tickets and reception for Berkeley Rep‘s 2019-20 season (valued at $370), a pair of choice house seats for the Broadway San Francisco‘s (formerly SHN) 2019-20 season (valued at $472), two four-flex memberships for Marin Theatre Company‘s 2019-20 season (valued at $446), two six-pass subscriptions for San Francisco Playhouse‘s 2019-20 season (valued at $660), an Oregon Shakespeare Festival package including a pair of tickets and VIP ticket access to exclusive house seats for otherwise sold-out shows (valued at $310), and more!

The Silver Jubilee will also include a limited wine auction (buy-it-drink-it), highlighted by magnums of 2005 and 2006 Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon (valued at $300 each, 95-100 points) and a Ridge Vineyards 2016 Zinfandel Vertical/Single-Vineyard collection (valued at $154).

The PlayGround Silver Jubilee takes place next Monday, September 23, 6pm-9:30pm, at San Francisco’s vintage Verdi Club and a limited number of tickets are still available ($250-$525, discounts for 2019-20 subscribers).
