Emilie Talbot and Eiko Moon-Yamamoto will be appearing in OUR LOVING COMPANIONS at The Marsh in San Francisco October 15-18 and in Berkeley October 22-25. This Grief Dialogues production is a groundbreaking immersive theater experience that explores the beautiful bond at the heart of pet ownership that is strong enough to propel us through inexplicable loss.
Lisa Morse revives her performance as Sarah Winchester in Mrs. Winchester, or, A Gun in the First Act, written by Joe Christiano, edited and performed by Lisa Morse at The City Lights Theatre Company October 4th at 7pm
Patrick Russell will be performing in Peter Pan Goes Wrong at SF Playhouse from Sept 26th to Nov 28th.
Annette Amelia Oliveira’s newest audiobook narration is now up on Hoopla, Audible.com, Spotify and elsewhere. It follows crusading journalist Nellie Bly on her captivating 1885 journey through Mexico. Compiled as SIX MONTHS IN MEXICO, her sassy articles for the Pittsburgh Dispatch cover lovemaking, home life, architecture, addiction, political corruption and more. The book is a travelogue, a social critique, a historical snapshot of life in Mexico through Bly’s opinionated and affectionate American and feminist lens.
Louel Señores has a busy October ahead — He will be performing in The Fall Show over at Shotgun Players, as well as in “The Rainbow Fish” with East Bay Children’s Theatre in the mornings!
Alanna McFall’s new full-length workplace horror-comedy, The Crypt-O Keepers, is running with Awesome Theatre October 2nd through 17th. The show is directed by Neil Higgins and performed at Eclectic Box in San Francisco.
Tim Bryant (he/him)’s poem “He moves in with his lover” has been nominated for Dipity Lit’s Best of the Net 2027 award and also nominated for Monarch’s 2027 Queer Literary Awards.
Mary Baird is fundraising for Actors Reading Collective full production of Deep Blue Sound in 2027. Also prepping to do Doubt in 2027. Loved reading at the San Francisco gala.
Greg Lam will be attending the Midwest Dramatists Conference in Olathe, KS this month October 7-11 to workshop his short play, IT’S A WONDERFUL SCROOGE.
Norman Gee kicks off a season of transition with Oakland Public Theater. Nov.7 we’ll do a reading at the Berkeley Main Library of the homegrown play, Pigeon Project by Jamie Greenblatt. Then Dec.4-6 we join the Twisted Holiday at Portrero Stage SF with our Filipino version of Thornton Wilder’s Long Xmas Dinner.
Rudy Guerrero will be appearing in ASSIMILATION with Word for Word at Z below in San Francisco; October 14 to November 8, 2026.
Michael Barrett Austin will be appearing in Neil Simon’s The Good Doctor at The 222 in Healdsburg early in the new year.
Lizzie Calogero is holding a fundraising party for her solo show BEOWULF, from Maria Dahvana Headley’s award-winning translation. There will be performances from the piece, a silent auction and artisan crafted merchandise for sale.
Dom Refuerzo (they/he) helped record Wildchoir’s upcoming EP at the historic Record Plant, now known as 2200 Studios, where inspirations like Stevie Wonder recorded Songs in the Key of Life, and Fleetwood Mac recorded Rumors. The initial crowdfunding campaign has ended, but we are still accepting donations via our Givebutter page!
