Katja Rivera directs ANTONY + CLEOPATRA, coming next to McLaren and Sue Bierman Parks in San Francisco.

Molly Noble is performing in Jon Tracy’s Julius Caesar at Marin Shakespeare Co until Sept 13. She begins directing for The Gin Game in September. Both shows are wild rides and one has a splash zone!

Emilie Talbot will be playing Amanda Wingfield in the remount of SPARC’s The Glass Menagerie at Douglas Morisson Theatre in Hayward on Sept 18-20, ONE WEEKEND ONLY!! It is a beautiful production, pleas join us!!

Richard Perez is directing Steel Magnolias for Town Hall Theatre. Ruby June Campbell will be playing Florizel in Half Moon Bay Shakespeare’s production of The Winter’s Tale, September 26 – October 25 at Carter Park Amphitheater.

Evelyn Jean Pine will be reading the “Ahab” chapter of MOBY DICK at 5:00 PM as part of the 2026 Moby Dick Marathon, Saturday, Sept. 12-Sunday, Sept. 13 12 PM to 12 PM at the San Francisco Maritime Museum, 900 Beach St, San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, San Francisco.

J Jha is playing the titular role in King Lear at Oakland Theater Project, Sep 27 – Oct 11 at Z Space, SF.

Michael Barrett Austin will be in Neil Simon’s The Good Doctor with The 222 in Healdsburg early in 2026.

Dom Refuerzo’s play in the spring, will be making its debut at Queer as Fuck’s 2026 show, Renegades. Performances will be September 17-26 at Bindlestiff Studio. All are welcome to come and celebrate the 10 year anniversary of this queer, Filipino theatre festival!

Lisa Morse is bringing her one-woman show, Mrs. Winchester, or A Gun in the First Act, written by Joe Christiano back to City Lights Theatre Company for a one-night-only engagement!

Louel Señores will be performing in a show at Shotgun Players: The Fall Show (Unrelated: He was also gifted a portable in-unit washer and dryer. Yay for needing less quarters to do laundry!)

Marissa Martinez will be sharing her zines at SF Zine Fest on Sunday, September 6! Marissa makes zines (DIY mini booklets) as a way to visualize her plays and poetry. She will also be presenting a zine art workshop at the San Mateo County Creates Arts Education Conference on Wednesday, September 30.

James W. Perry’s Nick and Georgia Visit a Sex Club heads to Austin! The play will receive a production in Austin, Texas, as part of the annual TUBU Fest, presented by Ground Floor Theatre, September 24–26, 2026.

Hector Zavala is excited to announce the opening of Casa Hechale Centro Cultural, our new home for artistic exchange and creative work in Mexico City. Casa Hechale will be the new home of Awaken Your Artist, as well as a space for artist residencies throughout the year. We’re opening our doors to actors, directors, playwrights, dancers, and performing artists interested in developing their work in Mexico City and connecting with a growing community of artists from Mexico and beyond. Patrick Russell will be performing in Peter Pan Goes Wrong at San Francisco Playhouse, running Sept 26th thru Nov 28th.

Kimberly Ridgeway will be staring in Johnathan Spector’s EUREKA DAY The show runs September 24 – October 18, 2026 at City Lights Theatre Company (San Jose, CA).

Wayne Wong appears in AH, WILDERNESS! as part of the Eugene O’Neill festival in Danville.

Nancy Carlin is playing Amanda Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie at Center REP, directed by Matt Morrow. Runs September 6-27.

Ross Peter Nelson’s production company, Raven’s Feather, is presenting The Moors by Jen Silverman at the Helena Avenue Theatre, September 11-27.
