Carolyn Doyle  will be performing her solo show Good Grief: Tales From a Persistent Blockhead at the PlayGround Solo Fest. January 26-February 8, 2026.

Miyoko Sakatani will be performing her one woman show about a courageous Japanese American woman who has been often overlooked while the men who resisted the same fight with wartime cases have been remembered. She will be giving Mitsuye Endo a voice in this biographical fiction based on historical facts as part of the 9th Annual PlayGround Solo Performance Festival on February 6th, 7th, and 8th live on the SF Potrero Stage and Streaming. playground-sf.org/boxoffice/.

Brian Herndon is playing Mayer Lehman in THE LEHMAN TRILOGY at San Jose Stage, February 11 through March 1.

Cindy Goldfield starts rehearsal soon, directing SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD at Hillbarn.

Sanjit Sengupta’s short play, Shoeshine Chemistry, will be performed live at The Marsh, San Francisco, on February 9 and 23, 2026 at 7 PM. It will also be live streamed.

Amy Sass is happy to be back in the Bay for a chunk of time! She has been deepening her work with Mythic Puppetry, Mask, Ritual and Song Medicine over the past several years in animist circles. Last year, her Blood Queen puppet was featured at the Earth Daughters festival in Canada. Her community-created puppet, Abuela Tierra, came to life in Roatán, Honduras. She will be hosting several event/workshops that include song medicine, physical theater, and mask making. She is deeply grateful to co-lead a GRIEF & PUPPETS retreat with grief pilgrim, Siobhan Asgharzadeh on 77 acres of pristine wilderness in Southern Oregon, May 26 – 31. Kimberly Ridgeway is directing FULLY COMMITTED, by Becky Mode – a 1 person comedic tour de force, staring Samuel Barksdale, who plays 30+ characters. The show runs January 23 – February 22, 2026.
