Kristy Lin Billuni’s short play, “The Cherry Tree” will appear 11/15 and 16 in Oakland Public Theater’s Four Seasons Political Landscaping at The Potrero Stage, a PlayGround Innovator’s showcase production. The Cherry Tree is a study for her forthcoming full-length musical, The Trees. Kristy Lin Billuni’s short Stonewall play, “Auntie Vanna’s Vanity” and her lesbian family comedy, “Maybe, Baby” will both appear 11/15 to 12/7 in Left Coast Theatre Co’s Found Family holiday show at The Phoenix, Union Square, San Francisco. Kristy Lin Billuni’s short lesbian family comedy, “Generation Sex” will have its third production, 11/20, in the Hit House Performed Reading Series, Beacon NY.

Rudy Guerrero will be performing the role of the EMCEE in the Theatre Rhinoceros production of CABARET; November 21 to December 15, 2024

Ben Chau-Chiu is assistant directing A.C.T.’s A Whynot Christmas Carol this holiday season! Featuring fellowing company members, Rosie Hallett, Stacy Ross, and Jomar Tagatac among other Bay Area favorites. This new Carol tackles not only the traditional Dickens story, but also the process of what it takes for theater artists to create a show that is important to us and the community we are in. Performances start Nov 26 and runs through Dec 24. Tickets range from $29-151

Greg Lam’s satire about reality TV called Treachery Island will have a reading on November 10 at 2pm at Pear Theatre in Mountain View, CA as part of their Fresh Produce series.

Annette Amelia performed a live play onstage for the first time in years at Playwrights Center of San Francisco’s Short Play Showcase at Fort Mason on October 27th. Fun! Great Audience! Two more audiobooks including her work were released in September: The Best Short Stories 2024, edited by Amor Towles and A Sunny Place for Shady People by Mariana Enriquez.
