Volunteers play a key role in PlayGround’s continued success, through their efforts on PlayGround’s Board of Directors, as Volunteer Ushers, Office Volunteers and Special Event Volunteers.

Volunteer Ushers

PlayGround has opportunities for volunteer ushers who assist with front-of-house tasks, including seating patrons, assisting with will-call and staffing PlayGround’s publications table, in exchange for a complimentary ticket to see the performance. Internships

PlayGround, a leading playwright incubator and producer of the Monday Night PlayGround series at Freight & Salvage, provides unpaid internships in the areas of marketing, public relations, development, producing, and literary management. Internships are personalized to meet the individual’s and organization’s needs and are generally 10 hours per week for 10 weeks, via zoom.
